Directories on /home/data/adcp

 raw:
  raw data files for the data streams (instruments) collected by UHDAS,
  in one directory per instrument.
  The ADCP data are in "os75", in binary format.
  For supporting instruments like the ship's
  gyro or gps positions that provide ascii NMEA strings,
  the original strings are collected.

rbin, gbin
  Binary versions of the raw data. These intermediate products
  are used by the ADCP processing routines to generate the absolute
  (earth referenced) velocity vectors shown, for example, on the
  UHADS GUI under the tab "plots".


proc
  An ADCP database generated with CODAS software package developed
  at the University of Hawaii. This is gold for people who are familiar
  with ADCP processing under CODAS.

tsgmet
  This directory is empty on Atlantis and Oceanus.
