Lead grant NSF: OCE-9631468 (see GLOBEC home page: [1]http://globec.whoi.edu/globec.html) Science Activities: *Conduct GLOBEC Broad Scale survey of Georges Bank, sampling the hydrography, nutrients, zooplankton and ichthyoplankton at a grid of about 40 standard station locations. *Sampling will use the following systems: CTD/rosette, bongo nets, plankton pump, 1 meter MOCNESS and 10 meter MOCNESS, bio-acoustic towed fish ("Green Bomber"). *Underway ADCP and met data will also be collected.
