Source: Brian K. Thomas of the NOAA Ship OREGON II submitted these data on a
	CD to NODC via U.P.S.

Actions: NODC copied the files on the CD to the data/0-data/ directory. Some
	 of the files submitted were duplicates of data previously 
	 submitted in NODC accession 0074607. Check sums of the	duplicate 
	 files were generated to verify that they were exact copies. The
	 duplicate files were then removed from this submission.

This directory contains files generated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

0078560_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data.  Each row
                     contains the geographical position where these data were
                     collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in
                     the right column, both in degrees).  NODC may have
                     corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error
                     when generating this file.  However, NODC did not change
                     the original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

0078560_map.jpg - Sample location map for these data.

0-letter.jpg - Letter from personnel aboard the NOAA ship that describes the
               data contained on the enclosed CD.

NSSDAC_file_naming_and_format_v2.pdf - Description of the naming conventions
                                       and formats for the data files under
				       the directory data/0-data/.
