Same to offload on return. 2) Require bucket truck to assist assembling tripods on dock. 3) Require WHOI shore crane to assemble tripods 4) Ship's crane must be stowed fwd when tripods are abd. 5) Require nav data output to sci. computer systems Notes: 1) 2-60' tripods to be deployed/recovered. 2) Require precise ship control for launching and orienting tripod array. 3) Trial deployment of tripods at WHOI dock before cruise 4) Require 300kHz vs 150kHz ADCP due to interference from deployed instrumentation 5) Experiment is a multiple ship operation require VHF comm between ships in labs as well as bridge. 6) Need to establish a common navigation baseline or origin for use with all ships.
