R/V Oceanus, Voyage #439 (OC439) 28 September 2007 - 3 October 2007 Woods Hole, MA - Woods Hole, MA The main scientific research objective is to: 1) recover the bottom section of the CLIMODE surface mooring in the vicinity of the Gulf Stream at 38.5°N, 65°W and 2) recover a surface mooring near the Martha's Vineyard Coastal Observatory. The planned activity is mooring recoveries. The operations area will be in the vicinity of the Gulf Stream at 38.5°N, 65°W and off of the south coast of Martha's Vineyard in the vicinity of 41° 19' 42.44"N, 70° 33' 21.76"W.
