Athena froze on the both the 27 and the 28 of August, both times brought her back up from a cold boot. On the 28th of August Athena wrote to five different files. On the 29th of August Athena wrote to 7 files. Removed the bancom card driver from the config.sys to stop the numerous files being generated. The numerous daily files on the 28, 29 and 30th of August were combined into one daily file named oc980828.100, oc980829.100 and oc980830.100 respectively. August 30th's file was written to oc980829.007, this was changed to oc980830.100. Time seems to be a problem. On the 30th noticed ATHENA was running 5 minutes off for the day. September 2, Athena froze completely after running SETCLOCK, had to hard reboot twice to get her back up and running. Septber 4, Athena froze up completely, did not realize till 1.5 hours later hard rebooted and came up working fine.. Lost data from 1417 - 1603. Septeber 5, Athena froze up completely at 1835, hard rebooted and came back up at 1843. At 1845 athena again froze up completely and was unable to bring her back up till 2114. In order to bring her back up tried numerous things... -2114 athena working with engine room and wet lab out of the loop -2250 engine room brought back in the loop -0112 Sept 6 wet lab brought back into the loop... -Sept 6 1300 still working fine..... September 7, 2343gmt The metrabyte1 and 2 went blank. Checked connectors, ok. the fluorometer appears to be working fine... metrabyte memory loss September9, 1417, 1552, 1634, 2157, 2208 gmt athena locked up, rebooted... September10..1734gmt ATHENA crash 1826 backup and running... September 11 0732-1033 ATHENA crash (froze) no data 1224-1228 ATHENA crash (froze) exited out of ATHENA, ftp error log to april, cold booted.. worked for 15sec crashed.. cold reboot.. worked for 5sec.. checked for viruses.. none.. rebooted worked ok 12sept 0002 athena back up and running NARROW BAND ADCP (150ADCP) ADCP248 was used to collect data.
