Source: These data were submitted from NOAA Coastal Services Center by Eric Hund in August 20ll.

Actions:  S. Phillips of NODC downloaded .tar.gz files from the NOAA CSC outgoing directory for Empire,
          Louisiana. The files were untarred and the .sha1 file provided by the data contributor was run 
          for each file group using a script developed by NODC (/nodc/projects/ams/bin/sha1check). 
          The original .tar.gz file was then discarded. These data are orthorectified image data of coastal 
          Louisiana with included Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) metadata and readme files. Data should 
          not be used for navigation. Associated data for this region is filed under NODC Accession 0075829.

This directory contains files generated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

0075830_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data.  Each row
                     contains the geographical position where these data were
                     collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in
                     the right column, both in degrees).  NODC may have
                     corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error
                     when generating this file.  However, NODC did not change
                     the original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

0-email.txt - Email from NODC liaison requesting that the data be archived at
          NODC.
