Source: This current meter data set was submitted by Polly Hadziabdic, 
	enquiries officer of the British Oceanographic Data Center (BODC), UK.
        NODC received these data (DVD) via regular mail on 04/14/201 and 
	received the metatdata reports on 05/23/2011 via email attachment.

Actions: NODC personnel copied the netCDF files from the DVD and the 9
         metadata reports files from email attachments to 0-data/.

This directory contains files generated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

0067029_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data.  Each row
                     contains the geographical position where these data were
                     collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in
                     the right column, both in degrees).  NODC may have
                     corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error
                     when generating this file.  However, NODC did not change
                     the original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

0067029_map.jpg - Sample location map for these data.

0-email.txt - E-mail from BODC personnel notifying NODC that they mailed
              their data to the NODC via postal services.

1-email.txt - E-mail from data submitter explaining the contents of the DVD
              and stating that the metadata reports could be found on the
              BODC web site using the BODC reference number.

2-email.txt - E-mail from BODC with 9 metadata reports attached.

3-email.txt - E-mail from NODC to Polly Hadziabdic confirming receipt of data
              and metadata and providing the NODC accession number assigned
              to the submission.

list.txt - List created by NODC personnel correlating metadata reports and
           netCDF files based on the file naming convention. 

data/0-data/
This directory contains the data files as submitted to NODC.

*.qxf - data files in netCDF format. (qxf is a BODC subset of netCDF)

*.htm - metadta reports


The naming convention for the netCDF files is as follows:
        b0XXXXXX.qxf
where XXXXXX is the 6 digit BODC Series Reference number.

The naming convention for the metadata reports is as follows:
        reportN.htm
where N is the report number.
