Thanks for the instructions. I included a metadata file that details who funded the mooring, location, data structure of the files I provided ,etc. Thanks! If not, I'll work up as much as I can from what you give me or I can pull off your web site, and the blanks I'll get back to you. > > Piece-o-cake. > > Cheers, Pat > > On 04/01/2011 02:32 PM, Rocheleau, Greg wrote: > >> Hi Pat- >> >> This is Greg Rocheleau again, from Makai Ocean Engineering. Thank you for the wave data from the Wave Information Studies site. The dataset contains ADCP Longranger Workhorse current records from 50-950m depth and Seabird CTD at 20,80, 130, 230, 500, 850, and 1000m, recorded continuously from May-Dec of 2010. The raw data files are about 250MB in total. The mooring was sponsored by NAVFAC and Sound and Sea Technology, with additional instrumentation provided by Makai Ocean Engineering and deployment and planning by Todd Erickson here at SOEST. We have unprocessed raw ASCII files which have self explanatory headers. The data is quite clean and does not require any filtering or de-spiking, etc. I have also imported all the data into a Matlab file (67MB), which has had minimal processing other than interpolating short time gaps. >> >> How is the best way to get you the data, and would ASCII be preferrable? Pat Grandelli (from the recent meeting with Gerard, Laurie Meyer, and yourself) mentioned that you were interested in getting the data from the NAVFAC/Sound and Sea mooring that Todd Erickson deployed in 2010 off southwest O`ahu. I have just finished organizing the data and have uploaded it to Pat Caldwell at the NOAA Data Center. I’m assuming it would be easiest for you to get the data through him , but I can also send you a disk or upload to an ftp, etc. Please let me know what works best, or if you have any questions about the data.
