Source: These data were submitted by Claudia F. Giulivi and Stanley S. Jacobs
of the Lamont=Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University on March 4,
2011.  We recieved them by email in a tar, gzip archival file.

Actions: NODC personnel "unzipped" the submitted zip file under the directory
         data/0-data/ and then they removed the zip file.  Longitude and
	 Latitude data were extracted from the profile data files and saved in 
         the metadata file in the about/ directory.  Other metadata were 
         extracted from the PDF file that was also part of the zip file 
         contents, and they were used to populate NODC's metadata fields.

This directory contains documentation for the Accession created by NODC.

journal.txt - this file

0071179_lonlat.txt - A file containing longitude and latitude coordinates for
		     the profile stations, as reflected in the header files
                     for profile data in the 0-data directory.

0071179_map.jpg - A map with the locations of ocean profile measurements.

0-email.txt - The text from the original email submitting data to NODC.

data/0-data/
This directory contains data that were submitted to NODC.

nbp0901_NODC_submission_CTD_downcast.pdf - a file containing metadata on the
                                           collection of data submitted to
                                           NODC authored by the data
                                           providers.

nbp0901_ctd_D.XXX - Profile data where XXX is station number between 1 and 160.
