Source: These HF radar data from Dr. Pierre Flament from the University of Hawaii 
        were sent to NODC via ftp from Patrick Caldwell, Liaison Officer at the
        University of Hawaii.

Action(s): These data were uncompressed and copied to subdirectory data/0-data and 
           converted files to data/1-data.

This directory contains files generated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

0-email.txt - E-mail from Cedric Chavanne to Pat Caldwell notifying NODC that these data
	      were ready to be archived.

0013113_lonlat.txt - Station locations for these data.  Each row contains the
                     geographical position where these data were collected 
                     (longitude in the left column and latitude in the right 
                     column, both in degrees).  NODC may have corrected 
                     geographic positions that seemed to be in error when 
                     generating this file.  However, NODC did not change 
                     the original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

0013113_map.jpg - Station location map for these data.

FGDCmetadata.txt - FGDC metadata record for these data.

simple_metadata.txt - Format descriptions and other metadata for these data.

data/0-data/
This directory contains the data and metadata files that were unzipped and
copied to this directory.

/1-data/
This directory contains files that NODC converted from their originally submitted 
format in the 0-data/ directory to an archival format that NODC can better preserve.

*.txt - NODC exported these plain ASCII/text files from MATLAB files. For more
        information see matlab_export.txt.

*.pdf - NODC created this archival format file from Powerpoint .ppt slides using Adobe 
        Acrobat print utilities.
