This directory contains files generated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

0065725_lonlat.txt - Station locations for these data.  Each row contains the
                     geographical position for a station (longitude in the left
                     column and latitude in the right column, both in degrees).

0065725_map.jpg - Station location map for these data.

MEDS_data_format.txt - Description of the Marine Environmental Data Service
                       (MEDS) data file format.

Float4901265_20100628_codes.txt - Definitions of codes used in each data file. 
Float4901266_20100628_codes.txt   Also, includes count (number of times that a
Float4901267_20100628_codes.txt   code is used in a data file), field (field
Float4901268_20100628_codes.txt   names used in the MEDS data file format), code
Float4901269_20100628_codes.txt   table (names of code tables used in NODC's
Float4901270_20100628_codes.txt   database for the Global Temperature-Salinity
                                  Profile Program), and value (the codes that are used
                                  in data file).  YYYYMMDD in the file name is the
                                  date when the file was extracted from the GTSPP database.
                                  YYYYMMDD.meds (YYYY for year, MM for month, DD for day).

Float4901266_20100628_sum.txt   Includes geographical bounding box of data,
Float4901267_20100628_sum.txt   number of stations, counts of stations by data
