Melissa:

I would be delighted to know that the data are archived and thus  
preserved. I think it is also a requirement set by NSF that data  
collected with support by US tax payers are submitted to appropriate  
data centers for archival. Also, I have more data coming your way from  
2006-09 experiments from the Canadian IPY efforts in Nares Strait.  
Helga (Huntley nee Schaffrin) and I received a very generous NSF grant  
to analyze those data.

Keep up all the good stuff, you make us at UDel proud :-)

the World Ocean Database for some months now, but I never did ask you  
formally if it was okay for NODC to archive it.  So please send a  
reply that I can archive along with the data to confirm your  
permission, and let me know if you have any questions.
