                     unique geographical position for all the observations
                     (longitude in the left column and latitude in the right
                     column, both in degrees).

read_me-filename_conventions.txt - filename conventions for these data copied
				   from data/0-data/READ.ME.

read_me-shipboard_adcp_annual_dataset.txt - Description of NODC standard subset
                                            of ADCP data copied from
					    data/0-data/std_sub.txt.

This directory contains the original data files as submitted to NODC.


data/1-data/
This directory contains files NODC translated from files under the directory
data/0-data/ to archival formats that NODC can better preserve for the long
term.  

*.pdf - NODC created these archival format files from MS Word .doc files using Windows 
        "print as PDF/A-1b:2005(CMYK)" utilities.
