Source: Michael Peperato, Chief Electronics Technician aboard the NOAA Ship
        NANCY FOSTER, submitted these underway data to NODC via FTP.

Actions: 1. These data were in a zip file, which was unzipped under the
            directory data/0-data/.  The zip file was then removed.
         2. The directory "NF-08-14 Foster_200800905_20080911" was renamed
            "NF-08-14 Foster_20080905_20080911" to match the naming convention
            of the other directories under data/0-data/.

This directory contains files generated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

0056339_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data.  Each row
                     contains the geographical position where these data were
                     collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in the
                     right column, both in degrees).  NODC may have corrected
                     geographic positions that seemed to be in error when
                     generating this file.  However, NODC did not change the
                     original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

0056339_map.jpg - Sample location map for these data.

0-email.txt - E-mail from personnel aboard the NOAA ship verifying 
              that they uploaded their data to the NODC FTP server.

1-email.txt - E-mail from Michael Peperato, the data submitter, that clarifies
              the dates for two cruises in this accession that have data
              that overlaps temporally.

NSSDAC_file_naming_and_format_v2.pdf - Description of the naming conventions
                                       and formats for the data files under the
                                       directory data/0-data/.
