Subject: Re: DeSoto Canyon Eddy Intrusion Study in the Gulf of Mexico submissions Date: Wed, 12 Aug 2009 09:12:50 -0400 (EDT) From: Paul Blankinship To: Thomas Ryan CC: Peter Hamilton , Steven Rutz Thomas, The data you are describing is ancillary data from an NDBC C-MAN station, Station BURL1 - Southwest Pass, LA. Over time we add to some of these stations in our database, bringing them up to date with the program we are working on at that time. When we report these data to you, we send the entire dataset for a particular C-MAN station which causes some of these data to be outside the program dates. While these data are redundant with earlier programs, they are part of the ancillary data for each particular program. Let me know if you have any other questions.
