Source: Temperature, salinity, oxygen and other profile data received 
	at NODC on 02/10/03 from Philip Mele, Lamont-Doherty Earth 
	Observatory by Ricardo Locarnini.
 
Action(s): Data from the original .tar.zip file placed on the NODC FTP
server was 'untarred' and 'unzipped' into the data/0-data/ subdirectory.
The transfer file was not retained after verifying that the contents of
the original transfer file had been accurately extracted.

This directory contains files generated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

0000919_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data.  Each row
                     contains the geographical position where these data were
                     collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in
                     the right column, both in degrees).  NODC may have
                     corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error
                     when generating this file.  However, NODC did not change
                     the original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

0000919_map.jpg - Sample location map for these data.

0-email.txt - Email from data provider requesting that the data be archived at
	      NODC.

data/0-data/
This directory contains the data and metadata files as submitted to NODC.
This includes 41 ASCII text files and one PDF file.
