The scientific objectives of this cruise are to recover osmotic samplers from Ocean Drilling Program “CORK” sites, download pressure data, and redeploy the osmotic samplers. There are eight DSV Alvin dives planned for this cruise. The operations area will be the Costa Rican Middle America Trench in the vicinity of Latitude 9.6 degrees North & Longitude 86.2 degrees West.
