Scallop Imaging Sled will utilize Fiber Optic cable off the ship's trawl winch. Dimensions of Imaging sled are 12 ft X 3 ft. X 2 ft. This is the first test cruise. Will operate 2-3 ft off bottom. VPR V-Fin is the tow sled that operates mid-depth of the water column. 3.5 & 12 kHz lines may be run over work area to confirm exisiting seafloor maps Couple of CTD stations - positions and # of stations TBD if used Operations Area: Cape Cod Bay, Stellwagon Bank is primary with area South East of Nantucket as weather back up.
