NRL Scatter VLA and Bottom VLA projects require ship crane (trawl and/or cargo crane) operator and deck crew assistance for deployment/ retrieval of scientific equipment over the side. CSS project requires assistance with location of equipment in deck "well" and transducer well (ADCP) ITC project needs trawl crane operator support while deploying towed array.
