EC 8/2 (1) 20 ' lab van ~17 to 20,000-lbs. 2nd van will be loaded or contents will be unloaded onto the ship, van will stay at WHOI. EC 8/2 Deck winch with electric motor: Requires 440 VAC, 3 phase, 60 Hz, 25 amps. Can be wired for 208 VAC at double (50) amps. 440 VAC is preferred and assumed. ARL will provide 50' AWG#6 (65 amp rating) 4 wire (allows safety ground) cable power cable.(JD 7-27) Lab Van: Requires 1 phase, either 220 VAC at 50 amps (preferred) or 440 VAC at 25 amps. The 220 VAC is preferred because equipment uses 220 VC and we would have to use a step down transformer to change 440 VAC to 220 VAC (which ARL owns) (JD 7-27).
