Source: These USACE Hilo Wave and Current data from 2007 were sent by 
        Patrick Caldwell via FTP in a .tar.gz file to NODC.

Actions: These data were unpacked in 0-data and redistributed into the 
         accession directory structure, including data/1-data/ according to 
	 the guidance of Patrick Caldwell. (CRP_20090130)

Files:

about/
This directory contains files generated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

0049892_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data.  Each row
                     contains the geographical position where these data were
                     collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in the
                     right column, both in degrees).  NODC may have corrected
                     geographic positions that seemed to be in error when
                     generating this file.  However, NODC did not change the
                     original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

0049892_map.jpg - Sample location map for these data.

0-email.txt - E-mail from data submitter notifying NODC that they uploaded their 
	      data to the NODC FTP server.

FGDCmetadata.txt - Text version of a FGDC metadata record for the submitted data 
		   set.

simple_metadata.txt - Alternate metadata record for the submitted data set.

data/0-data/
This directory contains the data files as submitted to NODC.

data/1-data/
This directory contains archiveable versions of files in 0-data created by NODC.
