Shipboard Pickup poles for moorings - ship supplied Equipment/Nav: Other Requirements: Loading on 10/21/05 of mooring gear, anchors, and DiVA will require dock forklift and ship's crane. WHOI truck to be used to move equipment from Mooring Systems to pier. 10/17 - DELETE - CANCELED - Addition to the cruise work plan: J. Christensen will be pressure testing some instrument housings by deploying them over the side to a depth of 200-250 m, using the CTD wire. He will only need about 2 hours of wire time and will do this in Jordan Basin after we have recovered the Jordan Basin mooring and prior to redeployment. The housings will be mounted on a frame and will have an appropriate attachment for the mechanical termination on the CTD wire. - DELETE - This pressure test has been canceled. J. Christensen will not be participating on the cruise. Notes: We will transport all hazardous materials (pre-prepared 4% buffered fomalin solution) off ship to home lab following cruise.
