SUPPLEMENTARY EXPLANATION OF DATA SET
- CTD system
- Since 1984, CTD instrument have been used to measure temperature and salinity. Prior to 1984,
Nansen bottles were used to collect water samples for measuring temperature and salinity. Salinity
was observed by titration or by AutoLab salinometer.
