	biochemical data obtained by Bigelow Laboratory Investigators, FRAM III,
	Technical Report No. 26, Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences: Maine,
	58 pp."

Actions: The data from the technical report were digitized into a NODC CSV
	data format, and placed in 0-data.

Version 2.2: A digitized version of the Technical Report was placed in 0-data,
	and the NODC digitized version of the data were placed in 1-data.  A
	lonlat	file and map were also generated and placed in the about
	directory. (CRP, 20120221)

This directory contains files created by NODC staff, email correspondence,
and other 'negotiable' information between NODC staff and the data provider.

0002237_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data.  Each row
                     contains the geographical position where these data were
                     collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in
                     the right column, both in degrees).  NODC may have
                     corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error
                     when generating this file.  However, NODC did not change
                     the original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

CSV_format_description.html - Contains information about the NODC data file
			      format.

data/0-data/
This directory contains the data files as submitted to NODC.

data/1-data/
This directory contains the NODC digitized version of the data contained
within the Technical Report.

File format:  NODC/OCL GODAR digitization format (comma-separated-values)
These data were manually entered into a MS Excel spreadsheet by NODC personnel
and/or contractors from the original source.  The MS Excel spreadsheet was
subsequently saved as the comma-delimited ascii text in the .csv file.
