These coral reef assessment data from the American Samoa region were
forwarded to NODC by NODC Hawai'i Liaison Officer Patrick Caldwell.


Actions:
Mr. Caldwell created metadata files in the FGDC format and in an
internal NODC organizational format. These files were copied to about/
as agreen_fgdc.txt and agreenmeta.txt, respectively.

The contents of the original compressed file provided by Mr. Caldwell
was unpacked and verified into data/0-data/ and about/ (i.e., originator
files were copied to data/0-data/ and files created by Mr. Caldwell were
copied to about/).

NODC staff created location plots based on the location data in the
originator files. Location plot files are accessible in about/.
