 I have placed on the NODC anonymous ftp site,one .zip file, when 
 opened, contains  field period 2002,Alaska GLOBEC  project
salinity, temperature, depth data sets with associated variables ( fluorometer, sigma T, delta d,
depth to bottom, PAR) and their  accompanying metadata entry forms (see below).
The .zip file contains 6 files (see below) representing 6 Alpha Helix cruises, field periods,
March through December 2002.  These data sets were received courtesy of the University of
Alaska/Institute of Marine Sciences.  These are "coastal ocean" data sets.
