These data were received at NODC on 1/28/2002 by Francis Mitchell. Actions: The original compressed .tar file was copied to data/0-data. The file was uncompressed and restored to individual files using standard unix commands. The individual files were placed in the data/0-data directory. The file naming convention appears to be apis.###, where apis signifies the project name acronym (Antarctic Pack Ice Seals (APIS) project) and ### signifies the sequential station number, 000-084. The data format is in the file named Readme in the subdirectory data/0-data.
