The data in this accession may have been acquired by NODC in multiple
individual data collections prior to about 1996. These data were either
originally formatted as seen here or were reformatted by NODC staff to
the format described in the file about/F006_format.txt. These
similarly-formatted data have been bundled together into a single data
collection (NODC accession) for ease of discovery and use. NODC no
longer reformats data of this type into this format, although NODC
occassionally acquires data in this format from data originators. Data
acquired by NODC in this format after 1996 are likely to not be included
in this accession. Additional information about this accession is
provided in about/muldars_readme.txt.
