Subj: Transfer of FOCI project data sets, including replacement and new moorings data files.

Enclosed, find two CD ROM products as received from the NOAA/PMEL - FOCI
data manager, Mr. Dave Kachel.
The CD's contain a total of 8 years data,  1994 through 2001 moorings
data, a total of 709 files of both Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska Fisheries Oceanography
(FOCI) project (see details below).  Moorings files include moored current meters, moored
ADCP, SeaCat CTD (and related), temperature recorders, a few pressure gauges and some 
weather station (type) files.  In addition, the 2001 CD and data sets have a number of .readme
files highlighting problems that occurred with equipment, etc.

Many of the data sets are sent as replacement files for past data submissions, primarily
current meters SeaCat data.  The remainder of the data are new accessions to add to the
NODC data base.  Please replace files as the old data sets are identified.

For assistance in identifying previous data, please refer to my accessions including;
