#! /usr/bin/perl5 print <T1 Board

T1 is a telecommunications standard for transferring data over a dedicated serial line. It offers very high transfer rates (1.5Mb per second) and many channels, which carry digitized voice as well as data. If your Internet Gateway system contains a synchronous communications card, you can connect it to a remote network from a T1 line.

These forms assume that your serial port connects to a permanant T1 connection and uses the PPP protocol. To configure a T1 connection, you must specify the port that contains the T1 line and add a PPP account to handle connection security.

Use the T1 Configuration form to configure the T1 interface.
