Hi, I am Venugopal.

I am a civil engineer. I received Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from Mysore university and Master of Technology (marine structures) from Karnataka Regional Enggineering College in 1989 and 1992 respectively. I have an experience in the construction supervision and design of civil engineering works.

Eversince I joined as Scientist-B, in the National Institute of Oceanography in the year 1992, I am working on various aspects of marine corrosion. I have few number of publications. I have filed one patent also. Presently, I am working on the durability of pozzolanic concrete in marine environment and corrosion of materials in Indian deep oceans. I am conversant with computer programmes FORTRAN 4 &77 and SOFTCORR.
