Rotor Spinning : It's advantages, limitations and prospects in India

Authors : Dr. K.R. Salhotra and Dr. S.M. Ishtiaque

Published in 1993

The Report :

Report gives sound technical advice on 'optimisation' of rotor spinning system. Consequently, this report will prove useful also to spinning technologists. It also equips the reader with sufficient information to compare this technology with the other major contenders in the field viz., ring, air jet and friction spinning. The manufacturers of rotor spinning machines would find this book of particular use for educating their potential clients on the advisability of rotor spinning vis-a-vis other technology options and in helping the client mills to utilise their machinery in an optimum manner. Both these aspects --decision on technology and its optimum exploitation - become crucial in a competitive market economy. As the Indian textile industry re-structures itself to survive and grow in a fiercely competitive 'open market economy' of the world, the need for keeping well-informed on diverse happenings in the industrial environment becomes crucial. .
