Source: J.S. Sarupria (Head, RNODC-INDO, Data & Inf. Division, National
        Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula, Goa, India) submitted these
        data to NODC on a CD. (Note: NODC seems to have received this CD
        sometime between April 16, 1999 and September 15, 1999.)

Actions: During February 25-27, 2009, NODC created 02-version/ of Accession
         9900162 for the following two reasons:

         1. NODC copied the files on the submitted CD to
            02-version/data/0-data/, because some of the filenames under
            01-version/ were corrupted.

         2. NODC removed a file (maria~42.htm under 01-version/, which is
            named maria.html on the CD submitted to NODC) from this Accession,
            because it contained personally identifiable information and it
            was requested removed by the identified person.  The NODC Director
            approved the removal of this file on February 25, 2009.  01-version/
            of this Accession is no longer published for public access.

Files: The files and information listed below represent what is located in
the most recent version of this Accession.  Changes made to the files and
information within the files from one version to the next are documented
in the "Actions" section of this journal.

This directory contains files generated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

9900162_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data.  Each row
                     contains the geographical position where these data were
                     collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in the
                     right column, both in degrees).  NODC may have corrected
                     geographic positions that seemed to be in error when
                     generating this file.  However, NODC did not change the
                     original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

0-mail.txt - Copy of a letter that accompanied the CD from J.S. Sarupria to
             Sydney Levitus, NODC.

0-email.txt - E-mail from Robert Gelfeld, NODC, to J.S. Sarupria requesting

	       unknown).
