The data sets were received courtesy of Dr. Tom Weingartner, Institute of Marine Sciences, Univ. of Alaska, Fairbanks via IMS data manager, Mr. Chirk Chu. The transmitted files represent this office' effort in editing and merging data and header files together and removal of non quality controlled data (oxygen and fluorometer). The DDF type forms were compiled from an office generated form merged with an edited version of Mr. Chu's submitted header and .readme file for each data set. I have copies of all of the unedited, non merged CTD and header files if you need them. These CTD data sets are from two projects, 1998-99, one being the DENSE WATER project (Bering Sea, mixed ocean) and the second 5 data sets result from the GLOBEC program, Gulf of Alaska, Resurrection Bay and PWS coastal ocean data. The NODC Catalog Information (below) has the necessary details. (about 700kb). It's there and it works, I tried it.
