This record starts well but becomes increasingly corrupted.
Speed contains many interpolated sections, beginning in mid-
November 1990. These increase in frequency toward the end of
the record.  Temperature also contains interpolations and seems
to stick at particular values after the end of August 1990.
Only the first few months of this record are good; the remainder
should be used with caution, if at all.  CMDAC has not prepared
an alternate file.
