When recovered this meter was fouled with rope and the rotor
was stiff. Approximately 43% of the speeds were at or below the
meter's threshhold and directions were confined to a narrow
range between 220 degrees and 240 degrees. CMDAC believes that
u and v in this record are not useful. We have prepared an
alternate version that contains only temperature.  Both the
original version of the file and the alternate (temperature
