MAFF notes that the middle portion of this record was noisy and
could not be used. That portion (lines 2825 through 4278) is not
included in the database. The succeeding portion (lines 4279
through 8825) contains a relatively large number of below threshhold
speeds. According to the recovery log, the current meter's rotor
was slightly stiff on recovery, which may account for the low
speeds.

The speed series of this record contains a number of spikes that
appear to be instrument errors. CMDAC has prepared an alternate
version of the record in which the spikes have been removed by
interpolation. Both versions of the record are available at this
site.
