94102 - HMAS Cook VKMS MK9 XBT System 28/06/89 to 10/09/89 Many traces from this cruise have a possible electrical noise fault e.g 94102.014 to 94102.064, 94102.097 to 94102.099 and 94102.146 to 94102.149. These traces have a wavy oscillation which severly degrades the temperature data. As there is currently no QC flag for this type of fault they have been rejected as 'LER' (leakage) either from the surface or at depth. Traces 94102.075, 076, 077, 078, 095, 096, 94102.113 to 120 off the Great Barrier Reef (Coral Sea) 94102.211 to 214 and 327-332 have inversions. Traces 94102.131 to 134, 94102.174 to 178, 94102.205 to 208 and 94102.215 to 218 have nubs at the base of the mixed layer. Traces 94102.169, 170, 204, 212, 228, 229, 230 232, 234, 242, 247, 252, 266, 267, 269 have step-like anomaly with a rapid change of temperature. These traces are flaged TOR from the depth of anomaly. Many traces from this cruise have a possible inversion PIA e.g. 94102.075 to 94102.078, 095, 096 and 296 to 302.
