I then forgot to remove those deletes from your file, which has led to your load issues. You are not missing any files. Please remove the deletes causing you problems from 200308012003.meds, and accept my apologies for the mess. One of life's embarrassing moments............sigh. Unfortunately, we didn't attempt to load these datasets till this morning, and found a problem with the first file received from you on Monday, 200308012003.meds. We also received an e-mail from the folks at ECMWF and it looks like they are having problems with this same dataset. The "200308012003.meds" file rolled back while attempting to load into the database because there are lots of stations marked as deletes, yet they were never received as "U" updates. I will attach a copy of our log file from the load. Do you think we are missing a dataset, or a partial dataset since there are so many? These are the sizes of the medsascii datasets here at NODC since July 17, 2003. hokulea_ > ll /nodc/ftp/outgoing/gtspp total 36564 -rw-r--r-- 1 agent agent 432348 Jul 17 06:31 200307162002.meds -rw-r--r-- 1 agent agent 1802739 Jul 21 06:31 200307182004.meds -rw-r--r-- 1 agent agent 2060758 Jul 22 06:31 200307212003.meds -rw-r--r-- 1 agent agent 1618691 Jul 24 06:31 200307232003.meds -rw-r--r-- 1 agent agent 1503683 Jul 28 06:31 200307252003.meds -rw-r--r-- 1 agent agent 1993486 Jul 29 06:31 200307282004.meds -rw-r--r-- 1 agent agent 1996161 Jul 31 06:31 200307302010.meds -rw-r--r-- 1 agent agent 3348765 Aug 5 06:31 200308012003.meds -rw-r--r-- 1 agent agent 3156889 Aug 6 06:32 200308052004.meds -rw-r--r-- 1 agent agent 805446 Aug 7 06:31 200308062002.meds Let me know if you need additional information to solve the problem.
