Summary: This data is a summary of three cruises of the MV OB by the Soviet 
         Antarctic Expedition.  The article summarizes the distribution of 
         euphausiid species and includes maps of their distribution based on
         collections of the OB and published data. The euphausiids were mainly
         sampled with a K100 net: 100 cm diameter, cylindrical part with No. 9
         mesh, conical part with No. 15 mesh in the upper part and No. 23 or 38
         in the lower part. A few other samples were taken with a Nansen net
         (50 cm diameter, cylindrical part No. 15 mesh, conical part No. 23
         mesh), a Juday plankton net, a Bogorev-Rass net, or a ring-trawl.
         Most of the samples were taken by oblique hauls.
