You can find it under pub/incoming. There are two files: ALBATROSS-ctd-nodc.asc.gz contains CTD data ALBATROSS-bot-nodc.asc.gz contains bottle data The correspondence between columns and variables is given in the README_ALBATROSS file. I'll put a cruise report in the post. Let us know if you've got any problems reading in the data or need any additional info. Let me know if any others come up... Alberto > a) the file ALBATROSS-bot-nodc.asc has no bottle data for stations 1 & > 153. It appears water samples were not analyzed for station 1, but > there should be water samples results for station 153. Are there bottle > data for these two stations? Station 1 was the test station. No bottle samples were analysed. Station 153 was aborted during the upcast, so no bottles were fired. > b) Stations 9, 64, 112, 129, & 150 have more water sample levels in > ALBATROSS-bot-nodc.asc than the number of water level samples listed in > Table 1 for these stations. Does this just indicate errors in Table 1? I've checked these one by one and it appears Table 1 is in error. > c) Stations 44, 89, 147 to 149, 151, & 152 have less water sample levels > in ALBATROSS-bot-nodc.asc than the number of water level samples listed > in Table 1 for these stations. Does this indicate errors in Table 1, or > the missing levels in the submitted file do not have values for the > submitted variables, or should there be more levels for these stations? At stations 44, 89 and 147 to 149 Table 1 appears again to be in error. For stations 151 and 152, some bottle samples were not recovered or analysed, and so there is no discrepancy between the data file and the table. Dr. Alberto C.
