   California Sea Grant Program is pleased to present to you this CD ROM
   final report on the Marine Ecological Reserves Research Program.
   (MERRP), a synthesis of all research results for this program for the
   period 1996 through 2001.

   This publication is meant to be a technical resource for use by state
   agencies, resource-users and academia.  It also constitutes an important
   record of achievement in the research and development of baseline
   information for marine reserves in California.

   Many dedicated people in state, federal and academeic institutions made
   this important effort possible.  Our most sincere thank you is extended 
   to all of them.
