Trans. : No Distribution : 1997-1997 Refernce Levl: The data are referred to the tide gauge zero which has not been linked to fixed bench marks. Comment : This short record is part of the set of observations taken at Dallmann by AWI: 682A: 29 Jan 1996 - 23 Jan 1997 682B: 06 Mar 1997 - 25 Dec 1997 682C: 24 Jan 1998 - 16 Apr 1999 The reference level of each series is independent. The data are not linked fixed benchmarks. Based on harmonic constituents obtained from the 1998 data, the 682B hourly residuals show steady periodic fluctuations. It is not clear if there is a slight offset in timing relative to the 1998 series or if the location is slightly different.
