While standard mechanical or ADR instrument was the primary gauge, leveling calibration factors were applied monthly based on tide staff comparisons. Comment : The hourly residuals reveal a possible reference level shift on 12 Sep, 1974 (-8 cm); however the shift is not evident in the daily means or with differences with daily means of Kahului. Otherwise, the daily and monthly means reveal no apparent reference level changes or trends. The noisy signal 6/20-24/2002 is from a storm.
