 I have placed on the NODC anonymous ftp site, a total of 2 .zip files, when 
 opened, contain field period 2001,Alaska GLOBEC  project
salinity, temperature, depth data sets with associated variables ( fluorometer, sigma T, delta d,
depth to bottom, PAR) and their  accompanying metadata entry forms (see below).
Each .zip file contains five files (see below) representing 5 Alpha Helix cruises, field periods,
April to December, 2001.  These data sets were received courtesy of the University of Alaska/
Institute of Marine Sciences.  These are "coastal ocean" data sets.
