All of the time series have been low-pass filtered and decimated
to two points per day, by the PIs. The filter is described as
having a "40-hour cutoff." CMDAC does not have the original
unfiltered data and was unable to check for instrument errors.

The temperatures in this file are potential, rather than in-situ
temperatures. (Potential temperature is the temperature that a
water parcel would have if it were moved adiabatically from its
measurement depth to the sea surface.)

There is an unrealistic spike during the first few days of the
temperature series. This may be an instrument error.

Move up one level.
