Hello,

I have just sent via FTP 260 CTD cast files acquired during the 2001
season by the NOAA SHIP WHITING.

The data were collected using a Sea-Bird, Inc. SBE 19 SEACAT profiler.
Each file is in the WHOI CTD Exchange Format.

The filenames have format YYDDDHHM.ssa where

    YY  = 2-digit year
    DDD = day-of-year
    HH  = hour of day
    M   = first digit of the minutes in the hour
    ss indicates the NOAA vessel
    ("wh" denotes the ship WHITING, w1 and w2 denote launches)

Please note that there are 2 files which have a problem.
01210165.w1a:   starts at pressure 8 DB rather than 1 DB.
01303194.w1a:   contains  bad data at the bottom (pressure = 29 and 30
DB).
