i have placed the polar sea 84 bottle data files in a gzipped
tar file in my ftp site (see end of msg).  
there are 59 files.  each file has our standard header, followed by the id line.  
there are 17 columns as follows:
pr: pressure
te: CTD temperature
sa: CTD salinity
rt: reversing thermometer temperature
rs: rosette salinity
ro: rosette oxygen
n3: nitrate
po: phosphate
si: silicate
cl: pCO2 @ lab temperature
cs: pCO2 @ insitu temperature
ct: carbon tetrachloride
tk: total alkalinity (titration)
f2: freon 12
f1: freon 11
bn: bottle number
de: depth

please note that time and positions will vary from the CTD downtrace.

time and position for the bottle files are from the bottom of the cast.
