These data were manually entered into a MS Excel spreadsheet by NODC personnel 
and/or contractors from the original source.  The MS Excel spreadsheet was 
subsequently saved as a comma-delimited file in .csv format.  Further information about
the format of the data is described in the file CSV_format_description.html in the 
/about directory.

Using a report generating subroutine created in the Ocean Climate 
Laboratory, the following information was produced:
